Specialist committees

Our members pool their expertise in the BVBS’s specialist committees. The advantage for members is that they receive information at an early stage in the specialist committees, have extensive opportunities to contribute to the decision-making process, and are in direct contact with other experts in the field. The working groups meet once a year at a face-to-face event and regularly online.

Complex issues and tasks are effectively resolved in the specialist committees. Temporary working groups are established to address specific topics in a results-oriented manner. Working groups can also be formed independently of a working committee and deal with overarching topics. The working groups deal with the further development of existing standards and procedures, the development of new data exchange procedures, the development of interfaces, the implementation of new specifications, quality management in data exchange, coordination with external market partners, and the exchange of information on the market environment.
